The CIC on Monday ordered that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will now work under the RTI and it will be accountable to the people of the country under its provisions. In the RTI cases, the top appeal body ‘CIC’ presented the findings of the law, the Supreme Court’s order, the Law Commission of India and the Central Public Information Officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs to remove this conclusion that the status of BCCI, The nature and functioning of the work meets the requirements of Section 2 (H) of the RTI provision.
