Amish Tripathi, known for his novels The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas, The Oath of the Vayuputras and Scion of Ikshvaku. The first three books collectively comprise the Shiva Trilogy and the fourth is the first of the Ram Chandra Series. The Shiva Trilogy was the fastest selling book series in Indian publishing history and the Scion of Ikshvaku was the fastest selling book of 2015. Amish announced on March 22, 2017 that the name of Book 2 of the Ram Chandra series will be Sita: Warrior of Mithila.
Sita: Warrior of Mithila, will narrate the period from Sita’s birth until the point where she is abducted by Ravana, in a multi-linear narrative in which Ram will appear only in the last one-third part of the book, Raavan: Orphan of Aryavarta will narrate the story from Ravan’s birth to Sita’s kidnapping. So, the first 3 books of Ram Chandra Series will tell the story of 3 different characters. The story will continue from Book 4 and Book 5 will be the end. Sita: Warrior of Mithila is going to release on 22nd May 2017.
