The Supreme Court canceled the decision of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to remove Alok Verma from the post office and leave it on leave on Tuesday. The Supreme Court ordered the restoration of Verma. However, the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) stopped him from taking major policy decisions until the investigation of allegations of corruption against him were completed. Verma and Central Investigation Agency’s No. 2 officer, Special Director Rakesh Asthana had charged corruption on one another.
