According to the Foreign Ministry, on Sunday, Modi will attend the ASEAN-India Summit. Modi was invited by Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to attend the ASEAN Summit. In the press conference of the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday, Secretary Vijay Singh Thakur had said that the summit related to ASEAN is part of our diplomatic calendar. This will be Prime Minister Modi’s seventh ASEAN-India Summit and the sixth East Asia Summit.
