France on Tuesday handed over the first Rafale fighter jet to India at the Marinek airbase. The handing over ceremony was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, French Defense Minister Florence Parle and Daiso Aviation CEO Eric Trappe. In the ceremony, Rajnath said – Fail means storm, I hope it will prove its name.
A video presentation was also given about the Rafale deal worth Rs 59,000 crore between India and France and the merits of the aircraft. Rajnath also worshiped the weapons in Rafale at the airbase itself. Rajnath flew for about 35 minutes in Rafale and described it as a wonderful moment in his life. Earlier, Rajnath also met French President Emmanuel Macron.
