Former Finance Minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley died on Saturday in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. According to news agency ANI, BJP Working President JP Nadda said that he is deeply saddened by the death of Arun Jaitley. The body of Arun Jaitley will be cremated at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi tomorrow.
He said that the body of Arun Jaitley will remain at his residence till 10 am tomorrow. After this, the BJP headquarters will be taken to pay the last respect. His last journey will start from BJP headquarters and go to Nigam Bodh Ghat. After this, the last rites will be performed here.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed deep sorrow over former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley of the country. He has prayed to God for the eternal peace of the departed soul and his family to give him strength to bear patience in this hour of grief. The Bihar state government has also announced a two-day state mourning.
