The fire that erupted in the California forests of the US for the past two days took a formidable appearance on Saturday. Due to this, about 1 lakh people have been forced to leave their homes. The fire is so strong that it is catching up to 800 acres every hour. According to police officials, 7542 acres of area in the San Fernando Valley have been burnt so far. The fire is now just 32 km from the city of Los Angeles. Efforts to extinguish it have been expedited. However, by Friday evening, only 13% of the entire area’s fire could be controlled.
