Russia’s President Vladimir Putin called the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) a ban on participation in global sports as politically motivated. “This is a violation of the Olympic Charter,” he said in Paris on Monday. Russia has all the reasons to go to court against this decision. “Wada imposed a four-year ban on Russia for sending and tampering wrong samples of its players for the dope test.

Due to the ban, Russia will not participate in Japan Olympics in 2020 and Football World Cup in 2022 in Qatar. Also, he will not be able to participate in Winter Olympics and Paralympics. At the events, they will be able to land Russian athletes, who passed the dope test. They will play under the neutral flag.
