Everything related to the life of Jesus Christ is written in the Bible. People of the Christian faith believe in each one of them. According to the Bible, when Jesus was crucified, he became alive and went to the city of Emmaus with his two followers. Now archaeologists in Israel claim to have found the city of Emmaus.
Archaeologists have unearthed the place as a fort in Abu Ghosh village near Jerusalem. There are big walls in the side of this fort. Those who have found it include Tel Aviv UniversityU professor Israel Finkelstein. He is accompanied by Professor Thomas Romer of the College of France and Christophe Nicol. According to them, the entire village around the fort was the city of Emmaus.
