Due to global warming in western Antarctica, rapidly melting ice is a matter of concern for scientists across the world. After the melting of the snow here, the level of water in the sea can increase rapidly. In such a situation, many cities around the world like New York, Kolkata, Shanghai and Tokyo are likely to be threatened. According to the reports, scientists are preparing to artificial snow cover from Antarctica ice sheet to deal with it.
Scientists can use 3-D Parallel Ice Model (PISIM) for this. Under this, water will be turned into ice on its edges to save the ice sheet (ice sheets) present in the Antarctic Ocean. This will cover the ice sheet in artificial ice and its melting speed will slow down. Scientists say that the ice-melting ice sheet in such a quantity will be balanced again and reach the middle of the ocean.
